ParadiseMy husband and I stayed at this hotel twice. The first time we stayed was May 2004 and we went back May 2005 (anniversaries). The first time we stayed, we had requested a poolside room, the second time a regular room (no pets). The valet parked the car and we did not need it until we left. Very good, but look out for the little things...We have stayed at this hotel 4 times in 2006. Each time, the place has gone downhill just a bit. Nothing major, just little things like broken light fixtures, stained bedspread, etc. Our most recent stay was in November 2006. VERY NICEThis is where me and my daughter stayed when went to visit Universal Orlando. It is a beautiful Hotel and the staff is very helpful. The price is OK but if you have planned for it then you'll be alright. A Great Stay!!I am very picky when it comes to hotels, but this one is outstanding. The rooms were a bit small, but the service was great, the food was good, and the proximity to Universal was a big plus. Also, getting the Fast Pass at the theme parks was huge. Absolutely Horrible!I stayed in this hotel August 06 and the grounds are nice but the rooms were disgusting. Dirty towels, dirty sheets, badly stained walls and carpeting. Terrible. I could have stayed somewhere a lot cleaner for the price. They are supposed to be re-doing the rooms in 07 so it might be better then, but I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone right now.5 of 5 Yahoo! Users found this review helpfulOVERALL

AWESOMETHIS A GRET THEME HOTEL. AS SOON AS YOU GET OUT OF YOUR CAR YOU FEEL LIKE YOU ARE IN PARADISE. EVERYONE ON THE STAFF IS VERY FRIENDLY. CHILDREN EAT FREE THE ENTIRE STAY IN THEIR OWN RESTURANT, INSIDE THE MAIN RESTURANT, WHICH MAKES THEM FEEL VERY SPECIAL. WE WENT THRU THE ENTIRE PARK,WITH OUR HOTEL ROOM KEYS ... BEST THING I EVER DIDI was a little apprehensive before staying here because of the price, but it was the best decision I ever made. There were 8 of us and we had 2 rooms that were connecting,(we stayed for 5 days) they were having a special and gave us 4 free adult tickets to Universal and Islands of Adventure and 1 free child ticket I only had to get 3 more tickets ...4 of 4 Yahoo! Excellent roomsWe stayed for 4 days back in 2004 and found it to be an excellent hotel that in some respects were better than at Disney.
Your room key is your speed pass and your right on the backdoor to the parks.

The Best!This hotel has to be the best I've ever stayed in. We got our hotel rooms in less than 5 minutes of checking in. Room service was excelent. Express pass was to perfect. Elegance at its bestYou truly feel transported to a hawaiian resort. With nightly luau's and tropical decor...you don't feel like you're in the middle of a big, busy town, you feel like you're on a small hawaiian island secluded and you like it that way!
