The hotel was in a great location in downtown Milwaukee along the river. The room was clean, spacious, and included mini kitchen. Full breakfast was included though seating was difficult to find.

Cons: The entrance was difficult to navigate with little space to park. Overnight parking was offsite, about a block away, and cost $12 per night.

I would definitely stay there again next time.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, and happily printed maps for us to help us get where we were going. A wonderful hotel with high ceilings and windows converted from the old Gimbals department store. Typical high-quality Marriott amenities. Backdoor directly onto a nice river walk. Within walking distance of many restaurants (try one of the Mo's restaurants about a block north) and theatres. The only drawback is that parking is not directly attached to the hotel-- you need to walk about a half-block.

I definitely enjoyed the room sizes, the ceilings were very high and vry nice. Service was great. I highly reccomend asking for Carrol or Lash to help you (we love them). Price was affordable. I'd definitely go back. The only hting I had a problem with was certain staff members were not as attentive as those mentioned.

I like the twelve-foot ceilings, the secured underground parking, and the large amount of room for the money. There are plenty of good restaurants within walking distance and a Borders bookstore downstairs.
