The rooms were too small. The "mini bar was stocked with some old items". We were told that the "MINI Bar was free of charge. Pro: Great Location, modern deco, free breakfest. Nice looking lobby and patio.

Con:
The walls are POOLY insulated. I mean, you near everything from people and cars on the street to the creaming kid next door. If you are a light sleeper, this is NOT the place you want to be at. =/

Rooms so small had to turn sidways to enter bathroom. AC broken, window panes loose. No rack for suitcase. Slippery shower with no hand rails, noisy and creepy.

Good value for the money.

The hotel is close to the beach, clean, and has a young, international staff. Rooms are not large, but are decently equipped with a sound system and a better TV. A lot of striving model types seem to frequent this place, presumably for the value and the young, slightly hipster atmosphere.

The hotel is a good value given its location and condition. We would go back.

We originally booked our trip to stay at the Claremont Hotel and ran away from it (if you're interested read my review and you'll know why) and found this one instead. This hotel is not great but it's clean and neat and the staff is very helpful and friendly. It's right next to the beach and from all the $129/night hotels that we stopped in to check for availability, this one was by far the nicest.

Everything was great, they waved the extra person fee and the parking fee....the staff was very nice and accomodating. Hotel was clean, continental breakfast was served every morning. Hotel was quiet. Would definetely go back and recommend to others.

The website we booked misled us - but as far as the quality and etc - I would not recommend. I really don't understand why some people rated this hotel so badly. I found it to be an overall great choice! It's not expensive at all, just one block away from the beach, and very close to all kinds of restaurants and shops. In spite of all the bad reviews I've read about before staying at the Wave,it was a very nice hotel stay for me,and my friends.I mean let's face it who goes to Miami to sit in a hotel room all day? I thought the service was good,it was clean,and the location couldn't get any better.Like I said I read a lot of horrible reviews about this place,but I would come back in a minute as a matter of fact i'm looking to book my next flight.
