If you like being woke up with fire alams going off at 1 AM & then again at 2AM this is your place!! If you like wet floors from the rain coming in then this is your place!!! Grand Hotel where is the Grand didn't see it there. Musty smell in hallway from rain soaked carpets. never again. Wouldn't recomend this place!!!! Fire alarms are a regular occurance according to the locals that live near by!!!!

For the 5th year in a row we have stayed at the Stowaway Grand Hotel. It is a great place to stay. The design of the hotel is such that almost every room has a wonderful ocean view. The only down sides are that it is very pricey and the cleaning service could do a little better job. Here's a tip..instead of getting reservations - just show up. We did and saved $100.00 per night!

The hotel is beautiful with a huge lobby and a 24 hour coffee shop! Our room had a great view and was very clean and spacious. Staff was friendly and we even had a massage at the salon. Make sure to get an oceanfront room... it's sooo worth it!

Frankly, the only good thing about this place is the location. Housekeeping is laughable! Check in is a disaster!! At my check in two women were complaining that they could not get into their rooms. Turned out they were both booked into the same room1 How does that happen? Our second day there management informed us that "we don't think ...

Our room had a wet carpet, so wet when you stepped on it there was water visable!! Contacting maintenance & was told they would get back to me - went to the desk about an hour later (midnightish) and the ONE person there was asleep in the office, and I couldn't get her attention! Left ...

We only live 30 miles away and couldn't wait for our "weekend getaway" for our 33rd anniversary in April. Our weekend was wonderful...great service and breathtaking view of the ocean! That's all it takes. We enjoyed the indoor pool and the bake shop goodies outside the lobby. Can't wait to come back this Fall.

spacious rooms.. two pools.. places to eat right in the hotel.. GORGEOUS views of the ocean =) great staff. wonderful lobby- very clean. a TON to do!
