This hotel was in the perfect location for downtown Pasadena. The hotel was very ordinary and had no view at all. However, the location was worth the value. I loved downtown Pasadena.

This hotel needs a face lift. The rooms are tired and need to be updated. Many of the amenities need to be refurbished. The television selection is poor. If it were not for the location I would not stay here. The air conditioning units are very noisy to the point where you cannot have them running when you try to sleep.

It's about what you'd expect of a Courtyard Marriott. Nice, but not much charm. It's pleasant walk from the shopping and attractions of Old Town Pasadena. If I stay in Pasadena again, I'll probably look for something with a bit more atmosphere.

I have stayed her twice. Once for a wedding and another time for Occidental College's graduation. It's a nice central location in the heart of the restored downtown area. You are within walking distance of bars, shops, and restaurants.
