I have been to this restaurant several times and have always thoroughly enjoyed the food, atmosphere and staff. I highly recommend this restaurant to all who want a most enjoyable lunch or dinner. As a plus the entertainment is great as well!

Ate here with my husband for dinner and considered this restaurant only average. We are not big cajun fans, however the restaurant was highly recommended. We were seated right away, and thankfully we arrived early because it was not busy when we got there. It got pretty busy within the hour, though. The music was karaoke-style country by a ...

Another very good experience this past Friday evening. Full house a lot of fun, friendly staff and good grub. You might have to wait a tad for your food but it is made to order and served with a smile.
I travel all over the US and globally and for a joint hidden in the woods there Cajun food is excellent and some of the best I have experienced anywhere.

I went to Neon Leon's today for lunch. I ordered something I was scared of, since I mistrust seafood in general, if I'm not at the dock buying it. It was the Seafood Etouffee. I thought I had died and went to heaven! It was one of the best dishes I've ever had in a restaurant. However, if you have a smaller appetite like me, ask for the ...

We won't EVER go back!!! We are locals & have on occassion eaten there. A few times we have been able just to go and be seated right away. But the last couple of times we were told unless we had reservations we couldn't eat there. So today early we decided we wanted to go eat there & called in advance & made reservations. Well, needless to ...

Four of us went there this past week. The service was fast and the food was excellent. Jambalaya was was wonderful, the etouffe rich, gator bites tender and the steak was perfectly cooked and tasty. Great prices also. We will go back on a night when there is live music. We had a nice talk with the owner, a really nice guy. I have to wonder about ...

My family of four went to this place for dinner last night. My husband and I had been there when they first opened and were disappointed, but thought we should give them another chance.

We ordered our food, and an appetizer for the table. The onion ring appetizer was ok, nothing special. Then we waited for our dinner - and waited - and ...

We stumbled into Neon Leon's, not knowing with to expect. When we entered, there were four guys on "stage" doing the chicken dance. That is just about what I expected. They did one more silly number. Then, they started playing blues. The middle-age fellow with the pony-tail started wailing with a very strong voice, a professional ...

Good food and great music really CAN exist together outside the French Quarter. This is a great little place and the team that runs it really understands the cuisine of the bayou counties. The decor is a bit kitschy (a little like an explosion in a Bourbon Street tourist shoppe), but the Lynard Skynard memorabilia (and the story behind it) are a ...

Neon Leons Zydeco Steak House is a real taste of the Old South.

I went there last night with 4 other guys. One being a retired food critic. We walked in and there are three things you notice right away. The Stage, the Bar, and the Lynyrd Skynyrd Memorabilia. There was no music playing yet when we got there, but they had a surprise in store ...
