We loved the room and the extra large balcony over-looking the open market with ample places to sit. We also enjoyed all the amenities of the hotel during our stay, an album of all the great places to dine with accompanying menus, candies in the lobby, the flavored ice teas and lemonade made available throughout the day in the lobby which come in ...

Great location....but
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/03/05
I stayed at the French Quarter Inn after reading all the rave reviews...and was kind of dissapointed. The first room we checked into...was not that great. Our view overlooked a black tar rooftop, and there were stains all over the carpet. We were staying a full seven nights, so complained to the front desk. He said there wasn't much he could ...

holiday inn survivor

This is a continuation of my review of Holiday Inn in Isle of Palms. There is no comparison. "Marvin" gave us an exceptional rate on an exceptional 1 bedroom "Master Suite" with unbelievable service. The French Quarter saved our anniversary! We will "never" stay anywhere else again and have learned our lesson for ...

Can't say enough good things about this place. So clean, nice large rooms with a huge bathroom. They lay out robes everynight with mints on the pillows. Cookies and milk every night in the lobby, wine and cheese in the afternoon and lemonade, tead and coffee all day. This is my favorite all time place to stay. I love it.

In the historic district
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/23/05
Whats not to like? Maybe not staying longer. What did we like? It starts with the valet parking then on to the champagne and lady fingers for the new guests. Next its wine and cheese and fruit at 5pm. Then before bedtime its milk and fresh cookies. All during the day there are flavored teas to refresh you after walking around historic Charleston, South Carolina and enjoying the city. We loved the French Quarter Inn.

Simply outstanding
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/02/05
My wife and I stayed at the French Quarter Inn in April for our anniversary and we had the most wonderful experience. Everything was perfect, from the impeccably clean and pleasant room and sinfully comfortable bed to the courteous, helpful staff and all the small extras they offer their guests (the Pillow Menu was something we will talk about for some time). It is an outstanding hotel.

we may return just to stay in the hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/01/05
This was the best hotel we have ever stayed at and we have stayed at many hotels. The service was outstanding. It is a small hotel and the desk staff remembers your name. Candy, tea and coffee are always available in the lobby. A good cold breakfast is in the lobby.
Each evening before dinner wine and cheese is served in the lobby. At 9 ...
