First class all the way - from the warm greeting at check in, dinner at Tristan, beautiful room & service complete with all the amenities - It was one of our great "get-a-ways" in our life.

we would go back

The location was pretty much centrally located and within easy walking distance of lots of attractions. The atmosphere and staff treated us wonderfully. It was a somewhat small hotel, but I, personally, liked that better. The only thing I regret that it didn't have was a pool.
This was the very best hotel experience I have ever enjoyed! I stayed here with my daughter on a combined business/recreational trip. This hotel is close to everything that we wanted to experience on our stay in Charleston. The accomodations were clean, comfortable and beautiful with excellent appointments. In general, the hotel is absolutely ...
Very nice and comftorable...The service and staff were great.Everything was within walking distance. We Love to sit outside and fortunatley for us our room was just a few steps from the balcony on the front of the Inn, so it was nice to be able to sit there and enjoy the outside. We will definatley being staying there again. The amenities are outstanding. DalyBlessing Chuck Daly and Robin Blessing

Should have stayed at Planters Inn
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/22/07
Usually stay at Charleston Place .... Wanted a "different" place to stay to celebrate my daughter's graduation from College of Charleston - a place that she could remember associated to this special event. Even called the general manager to share this experience NO REAL RESPONSE - "I'll research it." Even though he ...

Perfection!

Talk about Southern hospitality...The entire staff, from the valet to the housekeeper, was as friendly and helpful as could be. The concierge was extremely knowledgable about the city, and gave us a good deal of assistance and advice. The location was incredible. We never even took our car out until the third day. There was so much to do and ...

Wish I had more time to enjoy!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/24/06
I loved everything about FQI! The amenities were too many to name, from valet parking, to wine and cheese, a pillow service, breakfast in bed, the list goes on and on you could not ask for more. To top it all off the staff was very friendly and more than willing to answer questions and make suggestions on places to eat and see. The location was ...

Best place to stay in Charleston!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/25/06
Great rooms, beds, location, and staff. In the afternoons, they serve wine, cheese & fruit. They also have iced tea and cookies waiting for you after a day of shopping & sightseeing. What a nice touch.
The French Quarter Inn was a special treat for my husband and I, and did not let us down at all. Far exceeded my expections. The rooms were very well appointed, and the staff friendly and helpful. The absolute best part though was it was extremely quiet.
Have seen other complaints about having to pay for parking, only comment about that is: ...

Can't wait to return!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/02/05
My husband and I are from Boston and recently decided to drive down to Charleston for a vacation. I had found the French Quarter Inn on line and booked a stay there. I can't even begin to explain how amazing this inn is! First, the people that work there are the most helpful, friendly and attentive people you could find anywhere.... second, the ...
