From the warm cookies to the excellent attention we received - I would go back again! The room was very clean and large enough for 4 women having a girls getaway!
This Hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly. It is in a great location. Close to everything. Just one street over from River Street which is where all the restaurants and shopping are. Also just one street over from trolley tour stop. Only thing I didn't like was the valet parking. Took longer to get your car than if you could get it yourself.

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/29/07
Our second weekend visit to Savannah was made GREAT by lodging at the DoubleTree. This stay, our room was a sixth floor end room with a beautiful view of the river and shipping traffic. The hotel is very clean, rooms are large, beds comfortable, and every staff member smiled and spoke when we passed. The consierge was helpful in booking local tours ...
My wife and I spend out honeymoon in Savannah and enjoyed everything about it. The hotel was a perfect location for everything! We didn't need to rent a car, we just walked everywhere. The conceirge were super fantastic! They are very courteous and helpful. They give quick solutions. It was unfortunate that it rained while we were there, but ...
Likes: Nice clean room, chocolate chip cookies at check-in, free internet access, SUPERIOR service and a terrific bed - nice and comfy with lots of down pillows. Dislikes: Pool and hot tub were a little on the grungy side.
*The Doubletree Hotel in Savannah is a nice place to stay, if you like to spend a lot of money. We reseved this room in February and got a great rate. It was a classy hotel, with some southern charm. The staff was nice, and the rooms were clean. However the stay at the Exective Inn and Suites the night before proved to have much cleaner rooms and ...

Best in Savannah

My wife and I was here for three nights and found the Hotel great! We had always stayed at the Desota Hilton but like the Double Tree much better. Nick at the Desk made the stay even more enjoyable, always with a smile and wanting to help, everyone in this business should take a lesson from him. We will be back in Savannah in Aug and will stay at the Double Tree again.

Visitng Savannah several times a year, this was the first time we stayed at the Doubletree and the last. Rates were 199+ a night with an added $15.00 per day for valet parking, a few dollars higher than other historic district hotels. Being a Hilton Honors members we did not receive award points, had to pay $13.86 per person for breakfast, ...
I travel with a handicapped son who is 3. There are many challenges to traveling with him. The staff went out of their way to make sure I had what I needed, sometimes above and beyond the call of duty. That truly is a blessing when traveling with small children. The warm cookies for me was inviting. The backpack for my son was a neat treat and ...
The southern charm of Savannah had us hooked within an hour after we unpacked our suitcases. The staff at the DoubleTree made us feel so welcomed and the added touch of fresh baked cookies was truely hospitality at its finest. We decided to make the trip from Kansas to reward our 8 year old for a long and tiring school year. It also helped that ...
