Just got back from a 6-day stay here tagging along with my wife for her conference. I can't imaging wanting to stay in a place like this so removed from anything close by without a car (+ $15/day parking). The restaurant options are so outrageously high ($8 for grits?), we started splitting meals because it cause almost the same to take a ...

Just back from Orlando
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/03/09
Just back form a four night stay at the Orlando JW Marriott. I would stay this is a nice higher end resort but not the best. Service is very good but it should be for what you pay. The room I was in was very nice but not the cleanest room I have ever stay in, it was very dusty. There were the nice extras, like chocolates on your pillow at night and ...
This was the most enjoyable vacation we have been on in the states. The attention given to our satisfaction was top shelf. This is the place for a family to just hang out and relax. So much to do for all ages. Park the car and just soak up the sun and fun and great food. We will return as often as possible. Just got home and already booking our ...

We had a great time!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/07/09
My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon. We loved the wonderful scenery (hotel, greenery, golf course, and the lovely fountain). The pool was awsome and we loved walking through the lazy river. During our first day there were complimentary wine, cheese and crackers sent to our room. The breakfast buffet at Primos( on site restaurant) was ...
We loved the lazy river and how they refilled your drinks while you are in the pool. This hotel was beautifully decorated. Everything was top notch. We did not care for how you had to pay a rediculous amount for parking and all expenses had to be charged to your room- you couldnt pay upfront in cash. Overall, this is an excellent choice as far as hotels in Orlando. A little pricy but a wonderful stay.
This resort was absolutely fabulous. I came with my husband and my two daughters ages 9 and 16. The JW Marriott is located right next to the Ritz Carlton and we also enjoyed many luxuries of that hotel, such as the spa and the fitness club. The staff is very friendly from the bell men to the waiters to the valet right from the start. When we ...

A Great Place To Be!!!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/27/08
i didnt have any problems with my stay here!!!! it was very clean and neat. i wouldnt want to be anywhere. i have referred this place to many of my friends.
EVERYTHING WAS JUST PERFECT.WILL LIVE THERE AGAIN NEXT TIME IN ORLANDO. ALL WAS JUST AS WE HOPED AND MORE.WE THOUGHT THE HOTEL WAS NOT PERFECT FOR CHILDREN...BUT IT WAS GREAT.TX
The hotel has everything you need. Set back in the Grande Lakes Resort, it’s a Great place for families or a company get-away. Pool area is perfect for kids with a lazy river. The king bedroom was very large with a pullout loveseat sofa, and a very generous sized bathroom. You can't beat the view from the 18th floor. Close to Universal and Sea World. All I can say is WOW!
The minute our family stepped into the magnificient lobby, I enjoyed every breath of the 'Vermillion Sunset' perfumed air. We got 100% attention and top notch service given the fact that the hotel was practically empty (low season - week before Xmas). The hotel amentities are well maintained and they spoilt our kids...chocolate covered ...
