Our room on the 42nd floor was out of this world. The decor and fittings were fantastic but the view surpassed the actual room itself (corner room with views of Empire State building). The beds were more than amazing, I had the best few nights sleep of my life in the city that never sleeps and the shower was just the thing for refreshing yourself ...
I stayed at The Westin at Times Square overnight on July 3, 2005. I had an amazing time! The location was perfect. The hotel was attractive. The front desk receptionist gave us a high floor with a view of Times Square upon request even though he knew that we got a discounted rate from an online company! The service was personal and speedy. The king ...

First Time in New York
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/04/05
The hotel location could not have been better for our family's first New York visit. Check in went smooth. The hotel staff was very accomadating. We requested a corner room and what a room it was! We had a wonderful view of the ESB and the Statue of Liberty. Room was neat, clean, and bigger than I expected. Beds were very comfortable. Great ...

Love that heavenly bed
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/23/05
The hotel is a beautiful 45 story tower designed by Arquitectonica of Miami. The rooms are simple yet elegant. The best thing in the room is the 10 layer heavenly bed. The views are amazing, our room was in the 39th floor; even the super fast elevators have TV's!
If you're traveling to NYC, don't hesitate to book this hotel. The ...
I really liked this hotel a lot. I am from New York City and still wanted to spend the night there. It was a great expirience. Everything is right at your fingertips. The spa was fantastic, the people were fruendly. Those beds, you gotta love the Westin chain, the pillows, blankets, soaps, towels, bathrobes and just everything. I would definitly recomend it to anyone.

The city life
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/24/05
If your trip is about the city life, this is the place to go! The rooms are comfortable and the location is right there in the middle of NYC. What a great place. Service is good but could be better. If you like winter time, its a perfect place. We went during the winter and went skating in central park, and got the ole fashion new york taxi ride! Different from all my other trips, but a good different!

Shoddy service; great ambience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/23/05
I bought a $400 room for one night. Needless to say, I was looking for an 'above average' hotel experience. The room service was mediocre at best; food was undercooked. The hotel's appearance was magnificent.

HAPPENIN' PLACE NEAR TIMES SQ.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/21/05
This hotel is only a few years old and is immaculate. Upon check in an escalator wisks you to a seemless check-in and you are in the fabulous nouveau lobby. The concierge does a fabulous job on getting theatre tickets, maps, restaurant reservations, etc. for your stay in The City.
Our room had 2 "heavenly" beds with a window seat ...
