The Sheraton Grand is the best hotel in Sacramento. The rooms are great, the beds are comfy, the service is friendly, and after several years in business everything is as good or better than when they first opened. It's great for business or pleasure, well located, and everything you expect. Sacramento's other major downtown hotel, located ...
The Sheraton Grand is right in downtown next to the Capitol, Cathedral and Convention Center. The room and especially the bed was very comfortable.

service was not that great, took a couple of days for them to locate my camera that was left in a conf. room, front desk didn't seem to care, nor did security. $10.50 for a glass of white wine and parking is very expensive.

Watch you credit card!

The Sheraton Grand of Sacramento charges a 5-star rate for its rooms and then nickel and dimes customers for the most basic of amenities: $2 each for local phone calls, $10 a day for internet access, and scant amenities. Also was charged a number of bogus charges on my credit card -- what a terrible business!
My family went up just for a night to visit some friends. We decided to show our 9 yr old son the State Capitol and Sutter's Fort also since he is learning about it in school. We got a great deal on our hotel room and it was very nice and clean. Beds were comfortable and we had great views of downtown Sacramento. The only downside was the hotel does not have a hot tub, just a small pool. Other than that, we had a great stay!

Very nice hotel with comfortable beds. The service at the hotel i got was excellent and it started as soon as i got to the hotel with valet. The room was clean and staff was nice. Didn't like the fact that i was charged $21 a night to valet compared to $12 for self park because their parking garage is across the street.
I parked my car ...

Gorgeous hotel, very well kept. Food was great and staff was friendly. Check out their lobby bar. It is one of the hottest spots in town. They have live jazz on Fridays and Saturdays.

Not worth the money
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/07/05
Loved the beds and cleanliness of the rooms. Club level rooms are NOT worth the extra money!!! The "snacks" are stale and sparse. In addition they charge $8.00 for a glass of house wine. There is no "club room", it's a hotel room with a large screen tv. NOT WORTH IT! Parking is terrible too. You have to park across ...
We stayed here for 3 nights. The beds are the best! We wanted to take them home with us!! Excellent service, clean, beautiful rooms! Can't wait to go back!
