Lake Calhoun is wonderful. Not only is it beautiful, but a wonderful to walk with pets, family, or friends. Anytime someone from out of town visits us we head to the lake. You must see!

Lake Calhoun has a variety of recreation for families, couples, and singles; all near Minneapolis. It's one of the in places for windsurfing. Kayaking and canoeing on the lake are also fun. In addition there's a walking trail around the lake with plenty of parks and a swim beach for the little ones. The bike/rollerblading trail around ...

When I'm bored, or my friends and I run out of things to do, we go walk around Lake Calhoun! It is a blast. The lake is beautiful and we see all sorts of activities; people playing volleyball and other sports, people fishing, walking, running, rollerblading, biking, romantic couples, parents and their children, swimmers, and much much more! ...

Lake calhoun is great cause it's a nice getaway, but it isn't too far from the city. There are also walking paths all around it, and it's gorgeous.

I love to go rollerblading there, go for a walk or run, just sit and relax in the grass. It's a nice way to spend a beautiful day. The area is so gorgeous. We always look around at the houses, go get something to eat nearby, or go over to one of the other lakes nearby, All in all, a really enjoyable way to spend the day

We like walking or roller blading around the lake and then stopping at the refreshment stand for an ice cream. Then we relax and watch the sail boats gracefully making their away across the lake.

This place is loaded with people walking, biking, and all kind of summer festivities the girls are always looking hot. Its a great place to just go and hang out with friends and family. However Its also always loaded with college kids in the summer so it might not be so suitable for everybody. Its like a school in the beach except they are wearing bikinis.

Great place to rollerblade, run, bike, walk or jog. Beautiful view of the city, lake, and the beautiful mansions that surround the lake. Also connect is Lake Harriet and Lake of the Isles.

This is a fantastic place to spend a Saturday, your lunch hour, or the evening.. with a 3.2 mile trail around the lake, it is a wonderful place to walk, bike, rollerblade, or run! There are always people around which adds to the great atmosphere..
