  • Very fun to do!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/26/07
Very fun. Went there for a school field trip and learned a lot about the olden days! They have a new exhibit that is an old house and you can sit on the chairs and touch the stuff which is awesome. The staff is pretty nice. All the boys liked to push the oxen cart. It's nice and clean. Value is pretty good for a museum. It also has a gorgeous view of the capitol building. Please just go and you'll definatley learn something!

I absolutly loved it, it was my first time there and it wont be my last. My favorite was the 1920s cafe theme, it was almost as if i went back in time.

  • Great To Come Home Again !
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/11/06
We lived in Minnesota for half our adult life and then moved to Arizona.
The Minnesota History Center in St, Paul. Brought us back home to the things we forgot. As if the 25 years being gone vanished and our recollections of our life and the city again came back to life.
A must see and do, exciting experience !.

  • Glad we visited
    By Fred D, 06/21/06
We were doing geneology and every thing we went for we found. The almost eight hundred mile trip was well worth it. Don't know too much about the displays as we were too involved with the microfilm and other research. The staff is exceptional!

They have a really new neat exhibit about a house in St Paul and the different families that lived there. Plus Prince's purple rain outfit is on display.

Building looks great. Displays are mostly for kids though. Didn't learn anything new about MN.
