Get the most picturesque view of downtown from here
By chua_herbert, 07/25/06
This place has everybody's favourite view of downtown Minneapolis - the Spoonbridge and Cherry sculpture against the backdrop of the Minneapolis skyline. Absolutely picture perfect! There are many other unique sculptures in the garden, but only the Spoonbridge and Cherry really had me going back to it again and again.

Great date spot
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/03/05
The sculptures are wonderful to see during the day or evening, but at night the city lights can be seen throughout the park. Minneapolis art insitute and the guthrie are right across the street making it a great location for a walk after dinner before a play or walking after lunch and then cooling off inside the art insitute.

I enjoyed pretty much everything except the weather was a little humid that day. The best Time to visit is spring- fall. During the week is best.

By Jessie V, 10/01/05
take a picture of the skyline with the cherry on the spoon - walk around and see all the amazing sculptures!! my favorite is the one of the horse, made from vasts of driftwood - it is amazing. whenever i go there, i feel like i have been REALLY enhanced by the various ideas and representations of art. i have studied here, falen asleep here, written here, talked here, and, of course, looked and learned here. you can't miss it!

Free Art

Free art on the edge of downtown Minneapolis. One of the best collections of outdoor sculpters. One may stroll freely until Midnight. Hidden security cameras keep it safe.

Very Interesting
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/28/05
So many unique sculptures. They really get you thinking about the artist's state of mind and level of creative thought. Some are better than others, some are kind of strange, but all in all a pretty neat experience.

Beautiful and Free!

I used to go here in the middle of the winter to get a breath of spring in the greenhouses. The layout and art are worth the trip.
