The staff were wonderful and friendly; the evening views from the Potomac spectacular. I'm afraid the cuisine was still on the order or Chernobyl/Titanic; far worse than any food we had in Alexandria, or even in the fast-food restaurants on the way home. Wines were good. Why not upgrade the food for an extra $10???
