We stayed at the Hampton Inn in Simpsonville for 1 night while looking around Simpsonville/Greenville and I was pretty impressed. The bedding was new and very nice, the bathroom was very clean and well stocked, and the complimentary breakfast was good (Cereals, juice, coffee, waffles, muffins, etc). For what we paid we definitely got our money's worth and will stay there again.
