Nice Ambiance, but that's about itMy husband and I have given this restruant so many tries. Each time we have gone we have had terrible service & almost as equally bad food.
The last time we went we waited an hour after ordering before we got our food. And it took us tracking down a manager & complaining. We even had to re-fill our own water glasses.

Scenic great foodI am from San Antonio and find it a great place to take out of town guest. The town of Greune is scenic with Texas favor. My experience at Gristmill River RestaurantThe prices for the amount of food are inflated! I ordered a chicken fried steak...it was at least half crust! Only one side can be chosen with the dinners and you pay $9.99 plus tax. I have been to a number of equally good restaurants that offer two or three good sides for the same price or less.
