Staff were friendly, and the location was convenient, but the room had clearly not been vaccumed for a long time, and smelled of stale smoke, mildew, and something that might have been dog. When I got there everyone was nice and helpful. The room smelled very mildewy, the air conditioner worked, so I was happy.. lol. There was nothing but a basic room, no hair dryer, no cofee in the room, and NO WIRELESS INTERNET. arghh. I didn't think Rocky Mount was in the backwoods, but geez they didn't offer ANYTHING special at this hotel. Definitely got was I paid for.

good value, clean (no roaches, bugs, etc.). place was in better shape than I expected. I wouldn't go near the pool, though. Walls are a bit thin but for one night while on my way to Florida I'd stay again.

your basic room and toilet. it's exactly what you would expect for $50.
