We love the Baccara. It is a great boutique hotel -quiet -but has everything you'll need. It is housed in what was once a private mansion -so it has tons of quirky details like unexpected and unusually shaped hallways and windows.

The Avalon Baccara is a small unique hotel-which is perfect if you are looking to get away from the crowds. I fell in love with it the moment I walked into the lobby (my son loved the pool table).

The hotel was awesome! Though there were a few cockroaches here and there, but other than that we loved it. We stayed in the one bedroom suite with a jacuzzi on the balcony and an ocean view, it was marvelous. I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone. It's definately a mexican style hotel, very private and clean. I would not recommend eating at the restaurant they have in the hotel, not the greatest food. A++++
