Great experienceHusband set up surprise visit for my birthday. We stayed in a standard room with two beds. The lobby is gorgeous! Customer service was friendly. Sleeping in the beds was heavenly. Room comes with microwave and refrigerator.
However, breakfast is not free, but delicious. $9.95 per person. If you're lucky, you can get it free for your birthday. ...SHOW FULL REVIEW

Read the fine print...Our family of 5 did a last minute booking for a short vacation to the area. We checked in late, just before midnight. I signed the paperwork at the front desk and had the kids in bed within 30min of arrival.

Is there such a thing as too friendly?I am a Hilton Honors Diamond member and I always seem to find Hilton Garden Inns a bit iffy. The hotels vary from being pretty good to not so good--there never seems to be one "fantastic" experience (like I often find in Hilton's Homewood Suites)

Shuttle service was awefulEverything was excellent except the shuttle. The shuttle took us to the Mall of America on time, but picking us up it was ALWAYS LATE. The first time it picked us up it was late by 20 minutes, and the second time it picked us up it was late by more than a hour and a half. Very Unhappy about that!!
