Friendly and luxurious, without being overbearing, Anassa is undoubtedly the best retreat from the mass of tacky tourism that you will find in all other areas of Cyprus. The Basilico Restaurant is outstanding, even by Anassa’s standards, and certainly worth paying that bit extra for. If you intend to stay for just one night check that this restaurant is open before you book; it would be awful to miss it.
