The hotel is located in the Grand Canyon Village which is right outside the main gate to the park. Our room was nice and clean, beds were comfy even the extra twin bed was soft & snug! Maid service was great during the 5 day stay. We'd leave and they were on it without a problem. Staff very friendly and helpful. Their Starbucks and gift ...
Very over-priced. The rooms were average at best. Over 2 weeks on road this was the most expensive stay and a Best Western, LaQuinta or Comfort Inn would have been better. You would have thought thia was a 5 star based on price and attitude. Pass on this one.
In October 2008, I took a bus tour from Las Vegas to Grand Canyon and when we passed The Grand Hotel, I told my companions, "When I come back to the Grand Canyon, I am going to stay in that hotel." I wish I had read all these Yahoo Travel reviews first! When we checked in I asked about lobby internet access, which was advertised in the ...
We stayed here last week for a surprise trip for my husband's 40th birthday!!! We traveled all the way form Minnesota. The stay here was great!!! No complaints at all!!! The room was nice. The staff was very kind and helpful. The hotel was very clean. The staff knew from our reservations that it was my husband's birthday and they ...

The grand hotel was everything and more. The staff very friendly and helpful, room was great! larger then we thought it would be The food was a bit pricey We let them know it was our 20th annaiverisary They put a bottle of wine and strawberries in our room upon our check in. also gave us a room upgrade and Two free appitizers. Great place to stay would recommend it to anyone
WE WERE NOT REAL IMPRESSED WITH THE GRAND HOTEL. I BOOKED IT ONLINE AND IT LOOKED GREAT. HOWEVER, THE ACTUAL ROOM WAS NO BETTER THAN A MOTEL 8 OR 6 AND WE PAID $220.00 FOR ONE NIGHT. IT WAS HIGHWAY ROBBERY FOR WHAT YOU GOT. THEY ADVERTISED IT IS A LUXURY HOTEL, WHICH IS NOT TRUE AT ALL. I GUESS WE PAID FOR THE LOCATION TO THE GRAND CANYON. WE WERE ...

If you're planning a trip to the Grand Canyon, don't stay at this "hotel". We enjoyed the Grand Canyon, but dreaded coming back to this hotel in the evenings to sleep.
Lot of issues: 1. We checked in, and was given a room, but when we saw the room, we didn't go in. It had not been cleaned yet. The trashcans were full, ...
I don't think I have enough room in this area to make a list of all the negative things I could say about the reservaions and front office staff of this hotel, other than one nice lady (Laura) who really tried to help us. Everything we requested was not right. The most significant issue was there attitude. This is a help yourself hotel. No ...

A birthday gift for my boyfriend & I (same birthday-just a few years apart! We live in southern AZ...) my family flew out from NJ & we went to the Grand Canyon. There were adjoining rooms booked months in advance for this. Even with dozens of confirmations calls, upon our arrival, all was lost in translation. After about 15 minutes of ...

We stayed at the grand hotel in march of 2007. Our room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We ate in the hotel restaurant that nite and the food was good, expensive yes, as it is in most hotels. We got breakfast at the McDonalds down the road and it cost as much there as it would to have gotten breakfast in a restaurant. They have a ...
