I've stayed in other $75/night rooms and gotten a WAY better room. We knew the place wasn't going to be good when the girl who checked us in had flies swarming around her. The hotel itself has a musty/humid smell from the pool. Our room was obviously a smoking room at one point, it reeked! For one night, we made it through. Would not stay there again!

Been seaching for a place to retire. Monticello is a nice little community. The hotel staff were very pleasant. Clean rooms, nice pool and hot tub! They have 3 banquet rooms. There was a wedding reception going on and we did not hear a thing in our room! Nice and quiet. If I go back to Monticello, I will stay here again. This is the nicest motel/hotel I seen in the town.
