I was recently (June 2006) in Tirana on a volunteer trip and while there we stayed at the Chateau. It was absolutly beautiful. The view from the hotel is amazing. Your up in these beautiful green moutains and below are the tiled roofs of Tirana. Although there may be more modern hotels in Tirana. The view alone from Chinza is worth the 10 euro taxi ...

Great place to be while visiting Tirana, either in a business or private Trip. Great location, with a wonderful view over the city, especially during the night. Very polite, multi-lingual and friendly staff. Reasonable price and great service

The hotel is situated on a hillside outside Tirana, so it is away from the noise and dust of the city. The shuttle bus service is useful for getting to and from the city. The hotel service is excellent and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The swimming pool is an added bonus.

Hotel is excellent, waiters and receptionists are very polite. If I ever go again in Tirana, I will be in the same hotel, and I recommend it to everybody without fear he will not like it.

Best Country out there, i suggest everyone to go and visit.
