The Chateau is a very pretty resort. The upside to the Chateau is everyone is very nice and the rooms are immaculately clean. The down side is that for what you get the rooms are way over priced!!! Went for my in-laws 50th anniversary. Used the free boats (canoes) almost every day, rented an excellent pontoon boat and tube one afternoon. Beautiful sunsets, poolside drinks, very nice room.

Food was very good (based on my half-million european and overseas travel miles on business), but pricey.

Otherwise, serious 4 star hotel, good amenities, very pleasant staff. Very fun place - inlaws will remember it for years to come.

Wow..because you think you are staying at the best resort in Branson....stop...it isn't what you are expecting! It is DUSTY and the buffet is not worth the money! The food in the cafe will not fill you up and it is expensive! A anniversary disaster! The managers...well..they just say.."Oh..I am sorry!" We went in December and the Chateau was very crowded and had a lot of loud drunks in the atrium that could be heard all the way to the 7th floor.
