The hotel was amazing and gorgeous inside and out...the only problem was the staff. All of the staff, except the valet staff had a really bad attitude, especially the bartenders! Also, if you're already paying $150 a night to stay at a hotel then why do you need to pay $23, plus tip, to park every day?
The high extra charges spoiled the stay. What kind of hotel in a downtown area that serves business travelers charges for computer use at the business center? And by the minute no less. Ridiculous. Wireless internet charge $15 per day. Parking $23 per day. It went on and on--someone needs to tell them it isn't Chicago.
I was greated by the Valet and then the bellman who was amazing! He was so pleasant and showed us around the restaurant and introduced us to the chef. He also offered places to get pedicures and would get the numbers. He made us feel so welcome! I would suggest this to anyone staying in columbus!
I stayed in a junior suite and it was absolutely amazing! Spacious, clean, contemporary and comfortable! Lot of cable channels and a very inviting bed. Reserve a suite, you'll love it!
The rooms are very nice -- just like the photos, only better because you're there. Bathrooms are among the nicest I've had in a hotel. And the beds are amazing! My only complaint is that with such a dream-like, comfortable bed, the pillows were a bit of a disappointment.
very nice and the service is very attentive nostalgic tyhe location is perfect right in the heart of the city try this nice nostalgic historic place quaint
This place is a good to get away from it all. I had fun here. A tad on the expensive side, but you get what you pay for. I look to come back here soon.
Very nice and nostalgic, pleasant, nice staff and accomodations, plenty of attractions nearby. Well designed and lots of extras. The rooms are large and comfortable

I travel on business typically three times a week. This hotel impressed me. Not the product of a typical Renaissance (pre-renovation right now) but the service was excellent. Great Pasta Buffet daily and the Elite/Marriott Rewards members get extra special attention from the entire staff. They are under reno soon. Great Location to all ...

One of the Best Hotels in Columbus
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/20/05
The Renaissance has had a long history of having different names and owners--The Sheraton, The Adams' Mark.... However, The Renaissance in Columbus is one of the best hotels in the city. Of course, I'm from Columbus, so I haven't stayed at every hotel in the city but I have stayed at the best ones in town. My last visit was due to ...
