I stayed here for a weekend in October 2008. The room was musty and dirty. The atmosphere is terrible. I would not suggest that anyone stay here. The price alone is way to high for what you get. Go to the Red Roof Inn...it would be cleaner and nicer.

we go to bowens every year, usually in august with two dogs in a cottage..we all love the privacy,the hammock, screened porch + pool. Just returned from a weekend in a guestroom..king bed, brand new bath,sliders out to the gardens + we could hear the waterfall in the fish pond..There are a couple of acres here and they all seemed to be filled with flowers! We played tennis late one night when the air cooled and that was fun. Highly recommend!

Bowen's has to be one the best kept secrets in the Hamptons. It's family owned and operated and the atmosphere is wonderful for children. They have guest rooms (which the owner Eileen was kind enough to show me) and guest houses which have full kitchens and you can bring pets. It's in a beautiful setting with flowers all over, nice pool, tennis court and I love the pond side sitting area.

we really had a great time here, the room was very pretty with a brand new bath, the grounds are filled with flowers and the owners were very warm and welcoming. we are returning next summer to stay in one of their guesthouses with our dog, the price is right and we are very happy overall with our experience!

we had a wonderful stay at Bowens by the Bays..the room was immaculate and beautifully decorated and the grounds were filled with gorgeous flowers. Eileen and Kevin were great hosts, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitly be visiting again.
