We just checked out this morning from our five night stay at The Orleans. We booked the place because we didn't want to stay on the strip, nor did we want to stay downtown and we also wanted other "things" to do besides gamble. This place fit the bill We got a nice sized room for 18 bucks on the weeknights and the value was ...

We love the orleans the rooms are very nice and the cater to there guests . The buffet is great. But the best kept secret in Las Vegas is The PrimeRib Loft in the Orleans. The food there is as good or better than any of the fancy chef resturants on the strip and I have eaten at a few of them..Emerils is good but the PrimeRib Loft is the best.
Very nice hotel. Everything you want within one location. Stayed here for the USBC National tournament and we were very pleased with this hotel. Nice casino, table games, pleanty of parking. Swimming pool and many places to eat. Overall very satisfied.

Great Tidal Wave of Sewage "Stank"
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/20/09
My only hotel experience that was even comparable to my stay at the Orleans was in a tiny village high in the Peruvian Andes 35 years ago. But the Orleans is worse--at least the place in Peru wasn't pretending to be anything other than what it was, and it didn't have the signature ORLEANS HOTEL SEWAGE "STANK."
I have stayed at the Orleans about 5 or 6 times. We loved that the hotel had all of the eating and tables/slots, but it was small enough that we didn't feel lost. I have stayed a few times on the strip, but would perfer to stay at the Orleans. The rooms are okay, but who has time to stay in their rooms when you're in Vegas. Black Jack tables are reasonable and the dining is great!
We have stayed at many hotels on the strip, and have never had the 'VEGAS vibe', The Orleans brings the 'Vegas vibe'. These is something for everyone. Rooms are spacious staff is uber helpful, and the gaming and betting are tons of fun. We have stayed 3 times, brought Family and friends and will continue to receommend The Orleans to everyone.
My wife and I recently tried the Orleans Hotela and Casino. We were both very inpressed with what we got and what was around. The price of the place was the best I could get and going to Vegas on an off pike is the best time to visit Las Vegas. The have something for everyone. Either your a bowler, a movie buff, a gambler doesn't make a difference they have it all. Going again very soon.
I have stayed at 13 different casinos throught years. Mostly middle range price. I stayed at Orleans the first week of Jan. This was the best room I ever had. All the rooms are basically the same. You come in and there is a bath room, then two beds with a tv stand in the middle and a chair back by the window. This rooom had a couch ...
We have stayed at the Orleans three different times. For those of you complaining, looks like it was situations uncontrolled by the hotel. How can the hotel control the neighborhood for heaven's sake. Things happen, ie the pipe bursting, that aren't expected. Be upset when the hotel catches fire and the alarms DON'T go off not when ...
My first impression was OK except for the very strong "cheap freshener" smell at the lower levels, very stuffy smell in the room and sings of wear in the rooms. However after the first day we noticed that someone went over our stuff and significant amount of cash hidden away under the items in the drawer was missing. Interestingly, the ...
