Up in the room, there was not air of smoke at all, which can not be said about many other Las Vegas hotels.
Most of the public areas are relatively clean, but you definitely get the sense this is a very moderate hotel in terms of quality and (lack of) updates. It sort of reminds me of a large Holiday Inn - not bad, not great. More importantly, in terms of the "true" Las Vegas experience, this property is definitely far off the Strip (i.e. ...

We usually stay at the Golden Nugget, but the pool was being remodeled so we decided to check this hotel out. Very good reviews. I agree with most - the rooms were comfortable, clean, and good size. Check-in was quick. Buffet was average. Wonderful pool area. The gambling was terrible but you know there are times when you win and times when ...

The rooms were large, comfortable and always clean. The services were above standard with friendly, knowledgeable employees.. We visit every year to participate in the Senior's bowling tournament from Calif. Althought the tournament is at another establishment, we prefer to stay at the Orleans...
this is the second stay here. the first was great. but not the second.rude housekeepers. rude chick at front desk. food at prime rib still the best. but this place still better than wynn.we are pretty well off and i dont like to wait.at wynn i had to wait 1 1/2 hour for room.which was not cleaned. at orleans i have never waited longer than 15 min.

Going in two weeks!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/10/07
Location- a little far, but shuttles and cabs made it seem much closer.
LOVE the pool! Restaurants are amazing! Enjoyed everything about my stay and can't wait to go back in two weeks!

The food was wonderful and ...
