From entering and being taken care of in the modern, spacious lobby, to having a cocktail with a friend in the luxurious bar area, to the incredible room that had a fantastic view of the City—I would go back to this hotel in a heart beat!!! I loved it and would recommend it to anyone who wants an upscale and comfortable stay that is friendly with flawless service.

Business People Stay Away!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/12/05
If you're coming to enjoy the city on vacation, this is nice, but if you are a business person, then stay away from this hotel. They claim to have internet service, but they are living in the dark ages. Their high speed works at a slower connection then the dial-up access that I had to resort to. Even their business center would not allow you ...
We quickly felt at home in your generously proportioned and tastefully furnished rooms, fully equiped with all conveniences such as: bathroom with separated bath tub and shower, hair dryer, a direct dial telephones, colour television, local and international channels.
A comfortable, luxurious and unique hotel situated in a perfect serene ...

Great NYC Experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/30/04
If you are looking for something different in a hotel, then look no further than the SoHo Grand. This isn't your average hotel. The rooms, though NYC small, are comfortable and stylishly decorated (it's like staying in your rich friend's guestroom). And what a neighborhood. It's a bit pricey, but hey, you are worth it. A great NYC experience.

A nice eclectic hotel with authentic retro style decor
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/30/04
Very nice doormen and polite desk people. Comfortable room with good scenic mid-town view. Loved the full flowing shower without the annoying water flow insert like most hotels have. Easy access to subway entrances. Being a grand member (can sign up for free) enables you free internet access, but if not it costs about $10 per day. Luckily we ...

Very animal friendly
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/07/04
Two weeks ago, I had to get my cat from NYC and move him to London. I chose to stay at the Soho Grand as they said they were "animal friendly". There is no extra charge for the pet and there are loads of immenities for your animals as well. They even have their own room service menu! They offer anything you might require for your ...

Hip and Comfortable a great combo
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/02/04
Not only has the Soho Grand remained one of the hippest places in the neighborhood since it opened almost 10 years ago, but the place continues to provide great service and amenities. From a personal cd player in the room with recommended cds to a popular bar downstairs, this place is a destination all on its own

Great hotel, fantastic location
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/21/04
The Soho Grand Hotel is one of the best located hotels in NY. The service is great and the atmosphere is very modern. The rooms, like many others in NY, are small, but comfortable.
