I stayed at this resort; its nice looking, easy to get around, and some of the best gambling action in the south however my last visit was less than spectacular.
I stayed in the Golden Moon Hotel with my girlfriend and I arrived to find unfolded towels lying about in the bathroom. Other than that, the bed was soft, the room was attractive, and ...
We recently stayed at the "Silver Star" Casino Hotel at the Pearl River Resort near Philadelphia, MS. The "Golden Moon" is across the street. Both are beautiful hotels with comfortable rooms, there are lots of places to eat, stores to shop and thousands of slots to play. However, we did not have much luck with our slot play and felt the machines were very tight in both casinos! Our next casino trip will be back to Biloxi!!

Best Resort in the South!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/23/07
My husband and I visit the Pearl River Resort several times a year and even though we have easy access to Biloxi, we feel that the Pearl River Resort is way above the competition. The staff will go out of their way, especially for special occasions and really act as if they appreciate your visit. For a fun, exciting, relaxing experience we definitely recommend the Pearl River Resort!

Rude Rude Rude Rude Rude
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/22/07
What has happened to the Golden Moon? We have been going to the Golden Moon for years and never had a problem. Went for out anniversary in Sept.07. Never been treated so rudley by anyone. I can understand if there is a problem in one dept. but in 3 different dept. of the hotel. All we heard was "that's not my station". The service was ...

TIGHT slots Pretty place
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/30/07
Very poor pay out. Now, having said that, on the whole the trips are genuinely pleasant. We have been going once per month for one year September 2006 through August 2007. Rooms range from very nice to somewhat shabby, even on the same floor, which would be 10th and 11th floor at the GM. Same goes for service, some visits are great and others ...

A good place to unwind. The ammities are good. Several years ago the place was a "dump". It has been cleaned up. The food is good. The slots are tight.

Great Golf poor food
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/02/07
We had a great golf trip for three days which was made forgettable by the meal we had at the Golden Moon's signature restaurant, the Galaxie.
We had a group of 18 people for dinner, and the restaurant had one server assigned to our table. The poor girl worked hard to get us served but could not overcome the logistical problems presented to ...

I load up my minivan about 10 to 12 times a year with six other people. Things are great but they use to be better. The slots do not pay often, out of the last 12 times we did not win anything. The coupons are great but it is still costly after traveling 700. The value of the coupons has dropped. Leroy, in the VIP section is great and he go out of ...
