like a fallen rockstarwhat once use to be the young and hip place to stay is now looking old and ratty, with POOR service... and i really need to highlight that as it took almost a HOUR to get out of a 2000 person show. why you ask? well due to the corrupt valet/limo service they will deliberately hold up taxi's and make you wait long enough to get frustrated enough ...1 of 1 Yahoo! The Worst Parking in Las Vegas!I went to a concert at The Joint at the Hard Rock. It took 90 minutes to get out of the parking lot! Unbelievable! Big Disappointment!1. The staff at the front desk was rude! They never called me when my room was ready as promised.
2. About 1.5 miles from the strip where all the hotels are and a $12-$19 cab ride each way. Adds up quick!

DisappointingThe previous reviews are correct. This place charges a $7.63 a day "resort fee". Whatever that is. The room is also filled with extremely overpriced water and snacks, i.e $4.50 bottled water, $3 snicker bars. DO NOT STAY HERE-- it is not what it used to be.I've stayed at the Hard Rock many times in the past but won't go back after this weekend. First as stated in the other reviews the rooms are busted and nasty. Second, the current construction means you are not going to win if you gamble here. Will never go back!Not sure where to begin. Rude and uninformed staff, tiny casino, way off of the strip and the shuttle bus stops running at 9pm (way too early for Vegas), room was worn out and filthy (food and stains on the carpet), room smelled like vomit and whiskey, charged for the mini bar and didn't even open it, and was charged a "Resort Fee" ...3 of 3 Yahoo! Great hotel, fun and great serviceI was a bit sceptical when I read the reviews here first especially the negative ones yet I believe everyone has their own experience and not everyone is lucky all the time!
