The Wal-Mart of Japanese cuisine! Why bother going here when you can get some Kroger sushi and watch anime in your bedroom? Terrible service, terrible food.

One of the best! Not only is the sushi fresh and superbly prepared, other dishes are outstanding (try the chilean sea bass). Service is excellent and the facility, even the bathrooms, very clean. Great for a night out, drop the kids next door at the attached child care center: dinner, movie and?

I work for Toyota as well. I'm surprised that being from "The Company" u definitely know how to suck up to your bosses. This review is to find a place that you can enjoy eating and meeting friends over a nice atmosphere. If given the choice of eating i believe Jo An doesn't have a wide variety of food compared to Miyoshi. Being ...

Although this place has very nice comtemporary set up, decent service and variety in menu, I can say that it does not match up to Jo An in its sushi and select entrees. I work at Toyota and can say that many of us prefer Jo An over Miyoshi for the quality of food including sushi. That said, it offers a wider options in menu than Jo An does.

Awesome food!!! We have been to several sushi restaurants around the Cinci / Northern Ky area, this is THE BEST! I would go there every day, 3 times a day if I could.

The worst Japanese food I've had at a restaurant. My (Japanese) family and I went there recently--the server was rude and the food was horrible. The meals are not authentic Japanese. Their "teriyaki" is a mix between a tomato based sauce and barbeque sauce, not soy sauce based at all. Will never go there again, there are much better places in Cincinnati, Newport, and Louisville.

Simply the best in Cincy region
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/21/07
You hear that "best sushi in Cincy " bit all the time but if you like sushi you will love this place. Very nice interior and design. Chefs are very good and quite creative. Large selection of Shochu. During masutake season the place rocks. The pork cheeks are great and when they have fresh spanish mackeral it too is outstanding and the preparation of the whole fish is gorgeous.

The food was delicious.

I look forward to returning for lunch. My companions and I tried pork, steak, salmon and shrimp entres and everyone raved about the food. We enjoyed sushi platers before the meal and again it was wonderful. Presentation was unusual and appetizing. Several varieties of tea were offered with free refills as well as beer and wine. Service could ...
