Read old reviews and didn't know what to expect. So to update everyone this is the hotel you want. No worries about parking cause it's covered...literally. And even though its a few blocks from Beal St. it's a safe walk. Great breakfast, crisp fresh sheets and a hairdryer for all those lady biker chics that pack light like me. Reasonable rates.

The Staff were extremely friendly and informative. The rooms wre large, clean and comfortable. We choose this hotel at the last momemt after staying in another hotel and being dissatisfied. I am a smoker, and I've stayed in hotels that cost twice as much and the room smelled like a bar.
The fact that I wasn't discrimnated against was impressive. My only regret was that we did not find this hotel first. We'll be back in the fall.

Staying here was a nightmare. I don't even have enough space to write about all the issues. I will tell you that our room overlooked the homeless people making beds off the street. The hotel parking was fulll of old mattress, and old carpeting. The room smelled like urine and there was mold in the bathroom. Before leaving to find another hotel, ...

The hotel was decent, it really is not for a business traveler, they do NOT have broadband internet. No matter what they say. There is a wire on the room but it never works. It did not work once in a week for me. The wireless is a 1 or 2 mb connection that only works in the breakfast area. It isn't stable enough to check email.
The location was ok, you can take the trolley nearby.

All I can do is endorse everything already said about this hotel.
Excellent location,friendly and helpful staff,great breakfast, v.convenient basement parking for $5 per night and free internet access in lobby.
