Nice hotel located on its own island ( yes, it has its own island! ). Picturesque scenery from the balcony. Only thing that bugged me was the souvenir shop owners that kept bugging me to buy their merchandise.

Spacious hotel rurrounded by gardens. Well kept. Friendly and competent staff. Swimming pools.
However: there are 2 kinds of rooms, the Nile View rooms and the main building rooms. Nile View entitles you to a small garden and terrace, and a more spacious room. The regular rooms may be less nice. Be wise and pay the small Nile View supplement to ensure a great stay.

this hotel looked wonderful, what a disappointment when we got there. the paint was falling off the walls, there was lots of rules about what you can and can't do. the staff were unhelpfull, only one pool was open and it wasn't very clean. the food was awful, luckly we were able to go to another hotel, if this didn't happen it would have been the worst holiday ever.

I loved the music played by the Nubian band.

Romantic location for the hotel to be situated.

The staff were very efficient and provided excellent service.

The Isis Island hotel is on an island in the Nile. There is a continuous ferry service from the hotel. I have much appreciated this ferry service. It just was adding some charm.

The Isis Island is located very nicely. It is directly opposite the Old Cataract. On one side is the city of Asswan and on the other side directly the desert.
