Forest Villas was a great change from most hotel chains which are a dime a dozen. The building and grounds are beautiful, the rooms are very clean and rates quite reasonable. The continental breaksfast has a good variety. A fitness center is available, wireless internet is free. The whole place has a warm appeal to it and the people that work there are really helpful.
My wife and I stayed here for a weekend trip away from Phoenix, and it was quite nice. The views from this place are pretty good, and the garden is well kept. The staff was hospitable, and the pianist on Sunday was superb. They told us the place is like 12 or 13 years old, and we couldn't believe it; it looks new. Internet was FREE, too. We are definitely coming back.
We had such a nice time. There's a more personal approach to the service in this place - we wanted to try out a non-chain hotel and we got lucky! The staff were wonderful and the rooms were very nice. I especially loved the touch of having a pianist on Sunday morning to go along with breakfast.
We enjoyed our three night stay. Our room was very nice. The staff was wonderful, especially Carla, she is a gem. There was a nice variety of items for breakfast. The only complaint would be the hotel is looking a little. A makeover would be a good idea. New carpet and paint. It is a lovely hotel and could be a great hotel.
I spent one night on a business trip to Prescott. The experience, while not exceptional, was fine. I dealt with several of the staff and they were polite and helpful. I had a room with a nice view and it was quiet. Parking was convenient and the workout room suited my needs.
I have never had as negative a travel experience as I had at Forest Villas. They refused to honor a confirmed reservation made through Expedia and charged me $100 more for a room that was weird and smokey. They were rude, abrasive, accusatory and unyielding. I advise you to stay anywhere else but there.
My fiancé and I found Forrest Villas through Orbtiz. We were looking for a quaint hotel on line, and thought it was a perfect choice for us as we looked for accommodations while in Prescott to have our engagement photo’s taken.
Unfortunately, several things marred our visit. To begin with, being on the first floor, ...
The manager is reallly rude! I called to ask why my friends had been given a lower rate (same dates/same room type), but he repeatedly interrupted me. He said he would raise my friends' rate! I asked about customer service; he said that I was "wasting his time." We won't be staying there--neither will our friends!
I liked the great service from the front desk, they were very helpful and complimented my children. The pool was cool during the summer, also very small. The kids were freezing (they say it is heated, I don't think it is). However, the views are spectacular from the rooms and main entrance, plenty of parking, safe area and very queit. Great ...
This hotel's rooms are overpriced and the description of their accomodations is very "creative" to say the least. The "Suite" is nothing more than a regular hotel room jammed with so many "Suite" amenities you can hardly get around, including a luggage table that sticks out into the bathroom doorway causing you to ...
