the fact that even after i got extremely inebriated and urinated on the couch in the lobby...they refused to kick me out but instead offereed me clean pants and a bed to lie on.EXCELLENT SERVICE

First trip to Ireland. The exceptional friendliness of all staff was just wonderful.

As American tourists they gave us great info on places to go and things to see.

This is an outstanding hotel - unusually lavish oak paneling, carving, clestory windows, stained glass and bevelled glass doors, an excellent pub with fireplaces, good dining room, and a helpful and friendly cosmopolitan staff. This hotel was a great find, great location close to the airport and Bunratty which allowed for some last minute shopping, we visited Bunratty but were glad to escape back to the more tranquil Oak wood. Staff friendly, rooms clean, food excellent, all round positive experience and reasonably priced, we will defientely be back

I love the Oak Wood Arms Hotel. I have stayed at this hotel many times as I travel back and forth to Ireland several times a year and, without fail, it continues to impress. I had usually stayed at another property in nearby Bunratty and discovered the Oak Wood when that property was once full. I haven't stayed in Bunratty since.
