    this hotel exudes sheer poetry... it's everything you imagine Italy can offer : history, charm, grandeur, beauty, quality and most of all, pure, unadulterated authenticity. The view on the Arno is unparalleled. The rooms are huge, it's like living a Verdi opera ! Can't wait to come back.

    Overall Rating: Excellent

    Building: medieval, atmospheric.

    Staff: friendly, really helpful, english speaking.

    Room: basic but comfortable, all you need for sleeping! No problems with shared bathrooms.

    Food: complimentary breakfast; excellent food, excellent service.

    Location: Central. short walk to Piazza del Duomo, even shorter walk ...

    just home from Pisa and we stayed in The Royal Victoria.Best location in Pisa you can walk anywhere.Wonderfull service,wonderfull breakfast.Room basic full of old fashion charm and very clean.We would come back,need I say more?

  • You feel like family.

    This family owned hotel is located in one of the most convienient spots in town, it is close to everything. I would say that the rooms are very clean and well kept, also the staff makes you feel like a member of the family. The breakfast buffet is very good and the cafe'latte is delicious. If at all possible ask for a tower room, even though ...

  • 'ROYAL TREATMENT'

    The Royal Victoria Hotel is family owned and it shows. The quality of service is impeccable and the staff is very nice.Ask for a room in the old tower which used to be part of the university and is unique in itself. The breakfast is good and fresh, also for an interesting expierience go to the marketplace early in the morning.

  • A good hotel in Pisa

    Accomodations in Pisa are limited, and the royal victoria is a good choice because it is inexpensive, and you cannot possible be more centrally located. The hotel itself is beautiful and historic. The rooms are somewhat of a disappointment. This is a great place if you are concerned primarily about location. if you want hospitality or value, pisa seems to offer a variety of B&Bs (like cosystay for example) for hospitality and value
