Nice clean friendly hotel. The rooms are a bit small. Showers dis not work properly when we were there. Restaurant closed being refurbished. Still good value and would definately stay there again. Avoid the tours shop in the entrance to foyer. They sell tours managed by TGV tours who are RUBBISH.

DISAPPOINTING

WHILST THIS HOTEL IS WELL SITUATED IN A PEDESTRIAN AREA OF BUDAPEST, THE ROOMS ARE SMALL AND BASIC. THE TOILET SEAT WAS BROKEN AND I HAD TO FIX THE SHOWER DOOR BEFORE WE COULD USE IT. IT WAS CERTAINLY NOT A FOUR STAR HOTEL AND WAS EXPENSIVE IN OUR OPINION FOR THE FACILITIES IT PROVIDED. THE HIGH SPOT WAS THE RESTAURANT WHICH WHILST LACKING CHARACTER AND ATMOSPHERE, PROVIDED GOOD FOOD AND SERVICE AT REASONABLE COST.WE WOULD NOT RUSH TO GO BACK.

Located dead center of Vaci Utca, which is the heart of Budapest's pedestrian-only city center. Nice sidewalk cafe, good pastry shop and restaurant, and the topper: The best breakfast anywhere, with last night's pastries added to an already very large buffet.
