We have stayed 2 summers in a row at this wonderful hotel. Staff are exemplary in every way. Concierge service second to none. Room and bathroom beautiful. Food excellent, especially breakfast buffet. Location is the best on Avenue George V--just a short walk to the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, and all the fab shops on the Champs Elysees. A luxurious haven in the heart of Paris. Already have booking to return.

Old, Falling Apart but great location

This hotel is undergoing renovation, I would avoid staying in this hotel until such time it is finished. I never got what I booked for despite a 500EUR++ price the rooms were in terrible conditions even though I got quite a big room. I am not exactly sure why they call this hotel Legendary. Perhaps its because of its Legendary dilapidated state for ...
I was impressed with this hotel. After reading sub-par reviews, I was a little nervous about staying there, but upon arrival was pleasantly surprised with the location, service, size of my room/bathroom and the overall quality. Granted, the decor was a little dated, but, still nice. I was very happy staying at this hotel.. and again, the location cannot be beat!

The room was quite adequate for our needs (two adults and a four year old son). QWe stayed in winter and found the temperature rather too high. The breakfast was wondefrul, a real highlight of a our ten days in paris. It was a great place to stay but we found ourselves travelling to the Left Bank each day, very alive and great fun. The staff at the ...
We visited Paris during the Christman season. The hotel was great! It was very elegant, classy, and convenient. It was very close to the local sights.. everything was walking distance. The rooms were small in comparison to rooms here in the U.S and kind of old but the bathrooms were very nice. However, the service made up for any discomfort you ...

we disliked the service and food. The bad quality of the hotel structure (too old)is also problematic. The high price is not justified by this low quality

Intimate and Luxurious

My wife and I stayed there last October (04)for free using Starwood points. Although I have Starwood Platinum status, we didn't seem to be upgraded, or at least not to a suite. Staff were exceedingly courteous, and the room was exquisite. Expect lots of arab-oriented television channels (imagine the muslim equivalent of the soap opera) and ...

Great Hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/28/05
Good location close to the Champs Elysee if you're in the mood to shop, and also walking distance to the Seine and Eiffel Tower.
The lobby and public areas are nice, but nothing to rave about (like the Four Season's are next door), but the rooms are nice w/classic styling, and the service was great.
We were in Paris for the christmas season and had a wonderful time at the Prince de Galle. The lobby is a true reflection of the rooms, simply elegant. Our family had adjoining rooms and everything was simply perfect. They seem to think of all you'd need before you even think of it. Having the Louis Vuitton boutique right across the street ...
