This hotel had excellent location! We had a window looking out to the gorgeous Mediterrean Sea. The hotel is not fancy by any means but the rooms are a nice size (for Europe) and clean. The location is excellent, just a half a block from the beach and a two minute walk to all the shops and great places to eat. The staff is really nice, when we missed our train they quickly set us up with our same room no problem.

To be fair we were there two years ago and it may have improved....

however we found the rooms dirty with cigarette butts on the floor. The bathroom had broken tiles and was far from clean.

The ancient telephone did not work which was fairly important to us as we had just been robbed and wanted to cancel our credit cards.

This hotel is in the perfect location in Nice. Perfect distance to shopping, markets, and the beach is literally a 1/2 block away. We don't typically spend much time in our room while on vacation, so I think for a European hotel, pretty big rooms and an excellent value.
