I've been to the Reef House Resort twice now, and each time I've left with a sense of happiness and an urge to go back. The staff is friendly, Larry is quite an excellent host, and it's cool to interact with local scientists studying reef health or the turtles.

resort was way too isolated, which I thought was going to be good. ended up feeling a bit trapped. the rooms were dank with much maintenance needed. food was medicore most days, although we did enjoy the lobster. diving was good, but roatan has a huge garbage problem and it makes it to the reef. reef health is good, not great.
