After a nice St. Patricks day dinner at home, we thought we would go to our favorite pub for a drink. On entering the Harp & Dragon we were told it was all you can eat corned beef & cabage and that would be $10.00 each we explained we had already eaten and just wanted a drink. we were told it didn't matter it was still $10.00 each to come in. ...

This business is still operating on this date.

Food isn't bad at all but the music is terribly loud. Nice selection of beers but it's mostly a 30 to 33 year old hangout in the evening. Still...if you like a rustic, old pub atmosphere then you'll like this place.

  • Good food, but the music was really, really loud!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/13/07
I went to the Harp & Dragon for dinner with two friends. Although this is supposed to be an "Irish Pub", it is that way in decor only. The closest the music got to being Irish was one song by U-2. It was a strange combination of Michael Jackson, country, rap and rock and roll. Mostly, it was very, very loud. We were sitting at a ...

  • A Great Pub
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/31/06
A Great atmosphere with Irish pub beers on tap and a mixed clientele of young to mature adults. The entrance is a long narrow room lined with classic high wall booths with spacious seating, leading to a stoned wall pub atmosphere with nostalgic murals of patrons. An easy going casual place. You need to try the Blarney Stones appetizers.
