I loved the location on the beach, however I didn't feel I was as respected as well as some of the othe hotels. I liked some of the smaller hotels they bought up across the street.

We (my Mom, Sister & I) have been going back
to Los Arcos since 1985. We have tried other resorts but have always come back for the people, atmosphere and the quaintness of this Hotel. We have at times gotten undesireable rooms, but they have always changed them when we asked. The food is good
but the employees and the location of this Hotel makes it a place that we return over and over again!

The best thing about this hotel is it's location. You're on the best part of the beach in PV, great access to downtown and plenty to do right outside the hotel.

Over the past 15 years of staying at this hotel I have seen the service drop. In past years the front desk always tries to shove me in a corner "tiny" room, no matter what rate I pay.

I have been to puerto vallarta 8 times and had stayed the first few time using a condo which i had owned.
Staying at Playa los Arcos and the value for the all inclusive was well worth it.
I sold the condo and will continue to stay here.
The service and the staff very nice.
The accomidations are nice as well.
I guess people expect to much, then ...

Musty mildew stench is the aroma at this hotel. Don't know whether a huge wave hit it or something really wrong happened to their air system...it stinks!

Bed is awful. Lounger at pool looked enticing in comparison. It may be close to town but unless you pass out everynight from alcohol poisoning and your senses are dulled....not a tolerable place.

I disliked that our room had no view and no amenities and was right on the main street. You could hear everthing that went on outside and for that matter everything that happened at the hotel in the hall outside the room. This was a very shabby hotel.
The bed was like a box spring no padding.
The food on the menu was good the buffet that we tried was terrible.

great place il go back anytime had alot of fun i talk to my friends about this place everytime vallarta pops up great place to go for fun and ladi back times.very hot in may tho but overall exellent
