We went down for my son’s wedding. We loved almost everything about this hotel. The only problem was that we were not informed that the Blue Marlin restaurant and Whale Watcher Bar were closed. Several other amenities were not available either. Since this is their slow season, it is understandable that they would do renovations now. The ...
The staff is courtesy, (bi-lingual), the resort and rooms VERY Clean, and if your to lay back and relax you can. If you want to party you can. The proximatity to town (walking distance) is GREAT - close to everything. I've been staying at the Finisterra for 12 years and I won't stay anywhere else in Cabo. I stayed here at different ...
The view & location are great, but the hotel itself is less than diserable. The crowd were rude drunks. While I like to throw down tequila with the best of them, the slobs that stay here grossed me out. The pool area was filled with empty bottles & cans. There were lime wedges floating in the pool. We went next door & used the pool at Playa Grande, clean & much nicer.
The hotel it is not all inclusive so save a few dollars but the view is awesome, staff is very friendly and attentive, bilingual. The hotel does dollar exchange.Private beach 3 resorts was nice, not crowded. Construction right next to the hotel but it was not a problem. They did not start work early and stopped early afternoon.Whale watcher bar is nice ...
I didn't dislike anything about this Hotel. We just got back 2 weeks ago and it was heaven for 7 days. The people and service are outstanding. The room was huge and beautiful view of the 3 awsome pools. It was secluded on a hill and we walked to the marina daily and walked back ( the hill up isn't that bad get some exercise !) the beds were ...

Has everything but a beach to swim
By alfonso m, 04/23/08
I liked: 1. The privacy it has. 2.The service in all areas is outstanding. 3. The souvenir store is owned by a close relative of the owners and you can tell is very well managed. I disliked: 1. The beach is too private and you can not swim; it does not even have beds to relax at the beach. 2. The hotel needs better decoration; the one it has now ...

Great place

I disliked the hike to get back to the room as the hotel is built on a hill. The views and the short walk to the marina made it worth while.

Lovely Place, Great Location!
By d_essner, 02/25/08
The hotel was close to everything. It provided breathtaking scenery, and was in walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants, a mall, and more. Very clean, but a little primitive with respect to on-site restaurants. Pool and beach terrific. The only negative was the relentless nagging by hotel staff to go to Timeshare presentations. They dont seem ...

Great Place...Great Time...BUT
By Don, 02/19/08
My wife and I just spent a great time at the Finisterra and loved the place. We had a great room (Palapa Ocean View) where we were able to watch whales in a distance just having a ball. The pool bar staff are great; but wish they had a better selection of cigars. They have a great happy hour at the pool and make really strong drinks.
