they don't honor their promotions, we found the staff unfriendly, the pool and public areas were dirty ie elevators unpolished, halls dirty, the rooms were clean however. you reserve a room with habor view a couple of days before checking in, get a confirmation # and get a view of a cement wall. There are many hotels around the area that have ...

Breath Taking

My wife and I stayed at the Harbour Towers for two days, and nights and it was a wonderful experience. The view from our room over looking the habour was breath-taking. We found the staff to be friendly and very helpful. We were there at the end of August and the weather was perfect. We plan to stay at the Harbour Towers the next time we are in Victoria.

construction nightmare & no warning
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/15/06
You'd think that a high class hotel would warn you that a building was being constructed next door and that you'd get a nice, early wake-up call at 7am. Call the front desk, and they tell you that's city bylaws.
Go elsewhere. There are plenty of hotels in the vicinity without having to locate next to very early -- and noisy -- construction.

Great hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/02/06
Fantastic location. We were on the 9th floor in a fab. suite. The views were fantastic. This was a great hotel with all the facilities one could wish near all the Victoria sites. We are in love with Victoria!!! Would stay in this hotel again. Anne and Brian Watterson Saintfield Ballynahinch Co. Down N. Ireland

Spacious accomidations
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/26/06
We are a family of four & throughly appreciated the ability for each of our sons to have his own room for the night (one in the 2nd bedroom with a double bed & one in the LR on the pull out sofa). And to have our own King size bed & separate room. The Suite was clean, well appointed & just far enough away from the chaos of the heart ...
We stayed here the latter part of April 2006. Our suite on the 7th floor was very large and very clean. Having a full kitchen was a big plus. The front desk was very helpful in having us driven to places in town which really saved on cab fare. It's on a really nice tree lined street; very quiet; and is only a few blocks to the inner harbour and Parliament, etc. Would recommend to anyone.

Good, But --Don't Pay Too Much!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/15/05
We booked this hotel based on reviews by other travelers and true to their words, the location is excellent!! Our view was also great and the room size very generous. Definitely a comfortable stay for families.
The only caveat is that we paid top dollar (over $200 U.S. per night) for our room -- and were disappointed to find an older and less ...

Excellent place to stay in Victoria
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/23/05
We stayed here in Sept. 2004 and truly enjoyed ourselves. We had reserved a 2-bedroom suite on a lower floor, but were upgraded to the 11th floor, which had spectacular panoramic views of the harbor -- could see the cruise ships from the balcony and could see the inner harbor from the dining area window. The suite had new-looking furniture and ...
