Departed Before Staying the Night
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/05/08
We had booked a room for six nights, going only by the web site for guidance. Upon checking in and seeing our $200 plus non-view room, we checked out. The room was in bad repair and the mattresses on the beds were terrible. We would have put up with these problems had the price not been so high. We were told that we'd be charged for the ...
We stayed at Jackson Lake Lodge in fall Sept. 07 and spring 08. On the fall trip we had a 100 series cottage, very close to the lodge with a patio and partial view of the lake and mountains. We didn't see much wildlife in Grand Teton that trip but lots and lots of buffalo at Yellowstone.

Beautiful View, Excellent Experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/19/07
We stayed in a "view" cabin and they weren't kidding! The view was magnificent and worth the extra money. We were a little afraid of being without TV for three nights, but we didn't miss it at all. The main lodge was lovely with great views, but the cabin I was in was just average with thin walls.(Not really a cabin at all, just a rustic motel type room) There was no A/C and I needed it in August. There are good facilities for families, (Horseback riding, ...
My wife and i stayed here on 7/3/07 and 7/4/07 in a cottage. The room was nice except for the noisy neighbors (thin walls). The views from the lodge are excellent of the entire Teton Mountain range. Also, it was common to see elk grazing in the area between the lodge and the mountains.
Mural Room: We orginally made reservations for both ...
We stayed in one of the cabins at the lodge. The cabins were very roomy, with two comfortable double beds. Good pillows. Very roomy bathroom, with bath tub/shower and sink along with other necessities. Separate sink basin outside bathroom was a nice touch.
These were expensive, about $200/night. Very high grade of service with the ...
We enjoyed our stay immemsely for its convenience and proximity to Jackson Hole attractions. Within the lodge a huge window picture frames the great grandeur of the distant rugged saw toothed mountain range. Its truly quite spectacluar. Alos here is a huge fireplace hearth with a carved metal moose behind the fireplace screen.Quite a conversation ...
