Noisy outside, toilet wouldn't flush, got the room changed, tub wouldn't drain, no remote for tv in the new room. trash in the drawers, found while looking for remote. cheap, not bad for just a place to crash but would not spend my dime to stay here. hallways smell like smoke, furniture is worn.

The Howard Johnson stay was a peaceful, polite, pleasant experience. I would recommend it to others especially if you're on a budget and looking for a quality stay. It was worth the time and money. It is in a very convenient location. Especially if you need to go shopping or looking for something to eat. You are surrounded by many restaurants. My husband slept well and it is a bang for the money.

Front desk service was great, very friendly and helpful. But it went down from there. I walked into a very cold room, guessing between 50-60 degrees. This place is not very clean and the staff was not at all helpful or friendly. There was a lot of noise and the location is very difficult to access. The only decent thing I saw here was the fitness facilities. Unless you are desperate, I would not recommend staying here!!

FOR THE PRICE THE ROOM WAS GREAT, THE PEOPLE WHO WORKED THERE FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL AND THE RESTAURANT HAD GREAT FOOD

It looks sort of like just a plain ol hotel from the outside but on the inside you will not belive all the renovations the hotel had! Almost everything was new! The lady was very friendly at the desk and helped me find a tailor at the last minute. I appreciate the true concern the staff had. I will be travling back to milwaukee in January and you bet I will stay there again!

This was possibly the worst stay I have ever had at a hotel. The staff was very rude and the rooms were unclean. I strongly recommend not to stay at this hotel.
