When my husband and I are traveling alone together, we usually stay at the Ritz Carlton or similar. When our preschoolers are with us, our top priority is a separate bedroom for them to share, a kitchen, and a pool and family friendliness. No scowling looks if the kids are being kids. I was very confused. It was not what we expected, at all. I mean I understand getting less for less... but no fridge? No coffee pot? Odd parking, and kinda dirty.

The Inn at Snowshoe is a clean and decent family oriented facility. I have taken my family a couple times and stayed there. It is not a high class Inn, in fact it could use a few touch ups but it is much cheaper and the indoor pool keeps the kids happy leaving a little more money for other activities on the mountain.

Loved the trip up there. My wife and I are avid snowboarders and we took up the offer for $105 a day including lift and lodging for TWO! Great rates and convenient.
